WIKILEAKS TO TOPPLE INDONESIA'S PRESIDENT?

The latest Moslem country to be attacked by Wikileaks is the biggest of them all - Indonesia.



Can we now expect some violence?



In 2009 there were bombs attacks on hotels in Jakarta; more recently there have been attacks on churches; on 15 March 2011 a parcel bomb targeted moderate Muslims.‎



On 11 March 2011, we read that Indonesia, now run by General Yudhoyono, is as corrupt as ever. (Asia Sentinel - Explosive Wikileaks Cables Nail Yudhoyono)



The Wikileaks cables may be intended by the CIA to destabilise Indonesia, and topple its president.



Under Indonesia's current president, General Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Indonesia has been friendly with China, Russia and Iran.



China takes an interest in Indonesia's natural resources, including oil and coal.



China has increased its trade and defence ties with Indonesia.



Indonesia's powerful Army Special Force, Kopassus, has cooperated with China. (RI vows to remain neutral amid global power shift )



Indonesia and China signed a strategic partnership during the visit of President Hu Jintao to Jakarta in 2005.

According to the allegations in the diplomatic cables:



1. President Yudhoyono has got prosecutors and judges to protect the bad guys.



2. He has used the spooks to spy on rivals.



3. His wife wife and family have enriched themselves.



4. He has protected Taufik Kiemas, husband of former president Megawati Sukarnoputri.



Taufik is believed to have profited from various big infrastructure projects.



Taufik is now speaker of Indonesia's parliament.



5. Yudhoyono's former vice-president, Jusuf Kalla, paid "enormous bribes" to win the chairmanship of Golkar, Indonesia's largest political party.



6. Yudhoyono got cabinet secretary Sudi Silalahi to "intimidate" at least one judge in a 2006 court case arising from a fight for control of former president Abdurahman Wahid's National Awakening Party (PKB).



7. Yudhoyono has used the Indonesian State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to spy on both his allies and opponents.



He got the intelligence service to report on Golkar presidential candidate General Wiranto.



At a meeting of Yudhoyono's cabinet, BIN chief Syamsir described Wiranto as a "terrorist mastermind."

8. Yudhoyono has links to Chinese-Indonesian businessmen, especially Tomy Winata, an alleged underworld figure and member of the "Gang of Nine" or "Nine Dragons," a leading gambling syndicate.



In 2006, Agung Laksono, now Yudhoyono's Co-ordinating Minister for People's Welfare, told US embassy officers that TB Silalahi "functioned as a middleman, relaying funds from Winata to Yudhoyono."



Tomy Winata reportedly used the entrepreneur Muhammad Lutfi to give money to Yudhoyono.



Yudhoyono appointed Lutfi chairman of Indonesia's Investment Co-ordinating Board.



Senior State Intelligence Agency official Yahya Asagaf also told the US embassy Tomy Winata was trying to cultivate influence by using a senior presidential aide as his link to the president's wife, Kristiani Herawati.



9. In 2006, one presidential staff member told US embassy officers that Kristiani's family members were "specifically targeting financial opportunities related to state-owned enterprises."



The President was "witting of these efforts, which his closest operators (e.g. Sudi Silalahi) would advance, while Yudhoyono himself maintained sufficient distance that he could not be implicated."



The president's wife is "the president's undisputed top adviser."



"Members of the President's staff increasingly feel marginalised and powerless to provide counsel to the President."



Yahya Asagaf of the State Intelligence Agency said the first lady's opinion is "the only one that matters."



10. "Ten years of political and economic reform have made Indonesia democratic, stable, and increasingly confident about its leadership role in south-east Asia and the Muslim world.



"Indonesia has held successful, free and fair elections; has weathered the global financial crisis; and is tackling internal security threats."



But, a series of political scandals in 2009 and 2010 seriously damaged Yudhoyono's political standing.



Yudhoyono was increasingly "paralyzed" as his popularity diminished.



"Unwilling to risk alienating segments of the parliament, media, bureaucracy and civil society, Yudhoyono has slowed reforms. He is also unwilling to cross any constituencies ...



"Until he is satisfied that he has shored up his political position, Yudhoyono is unlikely to spend any political capital to move his reform agenda, or controversial aspects of US -Indonesia relations, forward."

ASSANGE & SHAMIR - DISINFORMATION AGENTS?

One of the people working for Wikileaks is the 'disinformation agent' Israel Shamir.

Shamir appears to be anti-Israel, yet he says "I can't accept the Mossad and/or the Jews as the perpetrators of the 9/11."

The excellent blogger P2P drew our attention to the article 'Assange's Extremist Employees' in Reason Magazine, 14 December 2010.

We learn from this:

Israel Shamir is a Russian-born, Swedish-domiciled, multi-aliased Jew, who works for Wikileaks.

Shamir 'selects and distributes' the Wikileaks cables to Russian news organizations.

The Swedish media has identified Shamir's son, 'a disgraced journalist' named Johannes Wahlström, 'himself accused of falsifying quotes', as a WikiLeaks spokesman in Sweden.

Wahlström 'has authored stories based on the WikiLeaks material for the newspaper Aftonbladet and is credited as a producer on a recent Swedish public television documentary about the group'.

According to Swedish Radio's investigation, Wahlström is the gatekeeper of the cables in Scandinavia.

Wahlström told Swedish public radio that his "father is what I would call the Swedish equivalent to Salman Rushdie."

Shamir

Israel Shamir, supposedly the "Israeli-Jewish" enemy of Zionism, would appear to be a disinformation agent?

Shamir asserts that Wikileaks is not the work of neocons or Zionists.

In an article on Wikileaks, he refers to "the lunatic fringe" getting "excited about another Zionist plot." (Assange in the Entrails of Empire)

Shamir does not believe that the Pentagon, CIA or Mossad had anything to do with the planning of 9 11.

Anonymous refers to an article by Vaughn Lockhart Smith explaing how he got into 'citizen-journalism'.

He left the army 20 years ago as a Captain and within three months was rentering conflict zones as an 'independent journalist'.

1. Wikileaks promotes the US agenda on Iran and elsewhere.

2. Wikileaks will likely be used to police the Internet.

3. The New York Times assigned David E. Sanger to control the release of the Wikileaks material.

Sanger sits as a member of the elite Council on Foreign Relations as well as the Aspen Institute Strategy Group together with the likes of Condi Rice, former Defense Secretary William Perry, former CIA head John Deutch, former State Department Deputy Secretary and now World Bank head Robert Zoellick among others.

4. Assange says he believes the US Government version of 9/11 and calls the Bilderberg Group a normal meeting of people.

5. The 250,000 cables are not "top secret" Most of the revelations so far have been unspectacular.

In 1987, a British spook called Peter Wright wrote a book called Spycatcher.

This book appeared to give away a number of secrets. But most of the information was old and already known.

The brains behind this book was said to be Lord Victor (Ted) Rothschild. (aangirfan: MI5 and MI6)

Spycatcher diverted attention away from 'evidence that Rothschild had given away secrets to Israel, and Russia'.

Half-hearted attempts to prosecute Peter Wright turned the book into an international bestseller.

We are not the only people to be suspicious of Wikileaks.

Peter Wright's Spycatcher diverted attention away from Lord Victor Rothschild.

1. The plan involves giving the leaker something dramatic (but already well-known) to get attention and build his credibility.

2. The 'leaked' documents, generally speaking, strongly support every single state department agenda, from invading Pakistan, regime change in North Korea, regime change in Iran, and supporting the role that Israel is playing in destabilizing the Middle East.

3. In the near future, these documents will help build the pre-text for the narrative that we have to force regime change on various targeted nations.

Imagine Dick Cheney’s forged 'Yellow Cake from Niger' document being 'leaked' by Wikileaks and praised by the likes of Daniel Ellsberg, Amy Goodman, and Glenn Greenwald….

4. Wikileaks disclosures may be used to justify the invasion of Iran.

5. The following is top journalist Fareed Zakaria, in a CNN video, explaining how the Wikileaks documents actually make him feel better about the state department:

Assange has used Schmitt in the past to communicate.

7) The WikiLeaks document release reminds many of Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers. Remember, Ellsberg worked for Internal Security Affairs.

8) The information that has come to light in the massive document release is not particularly groundbreaking, and as such, fits the description of a "limited hang-out."

Former Pakistani army Chief of Staff Mirza Aslam Beg has said that Wikileaks is a US plot to create a rift between friendly and neighbouring states.

"The US has a hand in this plot, and these reports are part of the US psychological warfare," said Beg.
